What is sarcasm really?
Googles quietly describes it as this:

“she didn’t like the note of sarcasm in his voice”
synonyms: derision, mockery, ridicule, satire, irony, scorn, sneering, scoffing, gibing, taunting; More

For people like us who know its potential this definition is just the tip of the iceberg. My manager used to tell me “you are too sarcastic”. To which I promptly replied: “Why so serious?”

Sarcasm is like defense armor. Protecting you from inquisitive relatives to your jealous peers it serves the same purpose.
It also gives you a good high. You see a good sarcastic statement is a lethal combination of wit, venomous sting and a quite subtlety. They don’t come in plenty and to be used in most opportune of moments. And the application takes years of practice. It’s almost a lost art really.

You can successfully counter the most sinister of plans and situations with this weapon.
Every day I see people lost and drowned in their problems. They don’t have the strength or the courage to fight it. They just deal with it with simple acceptance.

People have forgotten to laugh. Humor has become a luxury they can’t afford. If you smile they wonder what is wrong with you.

Do you want to be dead from inside? If not, then look around. There are plenty of things out there which will make you smile. Give you a reason to live for and to die for.

Keep the sarcasm alive in you and you will see the world is already a better place!
